Low Fat Weekly Menu--Day One
Breakfast
a serve of low-fat, low-sugar, high-fibre cereal, sprinkled with some whey protein powder, with skim milk, some fruit and a coffee
snack
a Banana Almond Muffin
Lunch
A sandwich made with thick slices of wholemeal bread spread with low-fat mayonnaise, mustard or low-fat dip, filled with salad and runa ( in brine )
Snack
A serve of Lemon & Oregano Chicken with Beans ( page 79 ), with a serve of couscous, a large salad with a couple of tablespoons of low-fat mayonnaise, and a glass of wine.
Dessert
a cup of low-fat yoghurt with mixed fruit salad and 30 g raw unsalted nuts (e.g.almonds )
