Fish Nuggets
- 500 g fresh white fish fillets, 1 cm thick
- 1 egg white or substitute*
- ¼ cup flour
- heaped ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- ½ cup dry breadcrumbs
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
Preheat oven to 230?. Line a non-stick baking tray with baking paper.
Cut fish into strips suitable for finger food. Beat egg white or substitute until frothy.
Combine flour and lemon pepper seasoning in a medium-size freezer bag and set aside. Combine bread crumbs and basil and spread on a plate.
Place fish fillets one at a time into bag of flour, and shake off the excess flour. Dip into egg white mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs. Place fillets on oven tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until fish is cooked. Serve with Tartare Sauce
